Update from New England Give Camp
Last weekend, Second Chances participated in New England Give Camp at NERD, Microsoft's New England Research & Development Center. At Give Camp, about 99 technology and design professionals donated their time and talents to provide software solutions for 24 New England charities and nonprofit organizations.
Second Chances worked with a talented and generous team of developers who streamlined and improved our existing Microsoft Access database, which will enable Second Chances to more effectively track our progress; communicate with supporters, volunteers and beneficiaries; and ultimately serve more people in need in our community.

Give Camp was a truly wonderful experience - we were so impressed with our project team; the work of the other developers, designers and event organizers; and with all the organizations that participated. Visit the New England Give Camp website and blog for more information about this great event.

Like so many nonprofit organizations, Second Chances has seen a decrease in both financial and clothing donations during the past two years, and unfortunately, this decline coincides with our clients and partners needing our assistance and services more than ever before. Your financial contribution, in any amount, will help us continue to provide free clothing to those who need our support the most. Volunteer fun and appreciation
Monday evening we had fun putting a mailing together with a group of volunteers from Tufts University and Morgan Stanley at Morgan Stanley's Boston office. We are so grateful to all the volunteers for their help and to Morgan Stanley for donating conference room space, refreshments and a giant bag of gently used clothing.
