Our June community clothing and coin drive was a lot of fun and a tremendous success! Thank you for donating 750 pounds of clothing, shoes and accessories to help people in need in our community and support a local nonprofit.

We hope to hold another clothing and coin drive at the Growing Center in September. Details as soon as they're available!

Second Chances recycles all plastic bags and paper packaging from these drives as well, thanks to the City of Cambridge's Recycling Program.

Other ways you can help
Second Chances is entering its sixth year and our needs are still immense. Right now, our biggest obstacle is funding - while we can operate on a small scale with lots of volunteer labor and donated space and materials, we still need to raise the funds to help the growing number of people in need in our community. Financial contributions are 100% tax-deductible.

If you are interested in making a financial contribution, please send it to us separately, do not include it with your clothing donation. Details »
