Waltham Fields Community Farm's clothing drive was a tremendous success! Friends and colleagues donated 510 pounds of clothing, shoes and accessories in June to help people in need in our community and support a local nonprofit. Thank you!

We are so grateful to our friends at Waltham Fields Community Farm for hosting this clothing drive, and especially to Claire for initiating this successful drive and Jericho for coordinating everything.

Second Chances recycles all the plastic bags and paper packaging from these drives, thanks to the City of Cambridge's Recycling Program.

Other ways you can help
Second Chances is entering its fifth year of operation and our needs are still immense. Right now, our biggest obstacle is funding - while we can operate on a small scale with volunteer labor and donated space and materials, we need to raise the funds to staff our program and become fully operational. Second Chances can benefit from financial contributions to support and expand our programs and operations. Financial contributions are 100% tax-deductible.

If you are interested in making a financial contribution, please send it to us separately, do not include it with your clothing donation.
